Ann's Garden Oasis, with a private entrances, is located in the heart of Nanaimo, on Vancouver Island with quick and easy access to everything you need! Lakes, ocean beaches and numerous hiking trails, all less than 15 minutes away.
Our West Coast Suite offers a unique place to celebrate any special occasion, and now with the addition of a full kitchen and a sunken living room, it is even more spacious and comfortable. It even has in-suite laundry. If you are looking for a place to rest, heal, rejuvenate and restore, this is it. ​

Just 8 minutes from the hospital, as your home away from home, Ann's Garden Oasis allows you an opportunity to heal, rest and restore before returning to your own home following an illness or a surgical procedure. Or, if you are the main caregiver for a loved one at home and you need to get away, your loved one can stay and receive Respite Care at Ann's Garden Oasis, or in their own home, while you take that much-needed break!​
Send in your request or inquiry today for Respite Care! West Coast Suite, the Hummingbird Studio Suite, and the Garden Oasis Villa Room, a 24 hour observational space, are available.

A full, In-Person, Assessment must be completed by Ann (an LPN) or another designated Professional, prior to receiving care or a booking confirmation for respite care. Clients must be stable with expected outcomes before being accepted into care. Our extensive experience in nursing also specializes in Dementia Care.
Many have said that Ann's Garden Oasis feels like a home away from home, and we are personally committed to making your stay as comfortable and relaxed as possible whether you are here for that get-away you have been dreaming about, or for Respite Care.

The West Coast Suite
Nothing says "Welcome" more than a generous basket of yummy breakfast items to tantalize your palette and start your day off right. There when you arrive or delivered the same evening, items are sure to please as we are happy to receive special requests to accomodate your eating lifestyle and diet. Tea and coffee with your choice of sweetener and whitener (ie. dairy free) are provided as well. Enjoy it all in the brightly lit, skylighted sitting room, or on your own private garden patio amongst the trees, birds and squirrels.
Beautiful Gardens
From your own private guest entrance smattered with foliage, and flowers, lovely garden areas overhung by majestic cedar trees, and quaint wooden decks leading to your own private patio, you will be delighted by the aptly named "Garden Oasis". You are sure to see squirrels running the fenceline or chasing each other through the trees, and you may even see a hummingbird or two, flitting about. Enjoy one of the books provided from your room, or just close your eyes, breathe in the fresh air, take time to unwind, and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of Ann's Garden Oasis.

Step away from your everyday stresses and indulge yourself in a relaxing stay at Ann's Garden Oasis. The West Coast Suite includes a full Ensuite for your use and we give extra attention to cleanliness here and throughout the whole suite, following the strictest cleaning protocols between every guest group. We want to help you create special memories and the spectacular Mexican sink surrounded by Gabriola Island Wood adds a special touch of ambience to help make your stay even more memorable. Soak in the extra large tub or wash away the salt and sand from your day at the beach under the shower and coupled with the deluxe towels and linens, either option will leave you feeling clean, refreshed, and glad that you decided to stay with us at Ann's Garden Oasis!
